England reached the EURO 2020 final last night and while Wembley bellowed in ecstasy, Clapham climbed in revelry.

Emotions ran high in Clapham after England's 2-1 victory over Denmark. Traffic through Clapham High Street came to a standstill as pedestrians swarmed the roads chanting that it was homebound.

In Clapham Junction, the euphoria went vertical. Videos of an England football fan who, after climbing onto a Clapham Junction bus stop, trusted his horde of fellow countrymen below to break his fall, was shared on Twitter by several onlookers.

Clapham resident Olivia Hartley wrote on Twitter this morning: "I'm still thinking about this guy I saw last night who decided to do a trust fall off of a bus stop at Clapham Junction. I do hope he's alive."

While it is not conclusive from this video that he is, the hundreds gathered together with their feet on terra firma leave us hopeful he is well, and will see it come home after England play on Sunday.
