Clapham stabbing: Two men flee Cedars Road in car, then by foot

Man stabbed on Cedars Road in Clapham

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in broad daylight in Clapham this afternoon.

Cedars Road on Clapham Common Northside is cordoned off and closed in both directions as police investigate a horrific stabbing which took place earlier today.

Police and ambulance attended the scene after early reports came of an incident unfolding.

Two men fled Cedars Road in a car then by foot, after they collided with another vehicle.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 2.47pm on Thursday June 10 to Cedars Road, SW4 to reports of a stabbing.

"Officers and LAS attended where a man was found with multiple stab wounds. He has been taken to a London hospital by LAS and an update awaits on his condition.

"Two men fled the scene by car and shortly after collided with another vehicle where they decamped on foot".
