The Balham police team are inviting women and girls in the area on a Walk and Talk to discuss their safety concerns.

Join local officers for a foot patrol on Tuesday, May 2 at 5.30pm.

The walk and talk initiative involves female officers buddying up with women from their communities to go out on patrol in open spaces and discuss experiences, concerns and reflections.

Intended to start a conversation between the public and officers about safety concerns and what police can do, working with partners to address them, the event will be attended by local police, as well as local professionals with an interest in keeping women safe in Wandsworth.

Meet at Balham Library, 16 Ramsden Road, London SW12 8QY.

Reserve your space here.
