Burst water main on Battersea Rise closes Clapham Common Westside

Battersea Rise closed after water main burst.

A burst water main on Battersea Rise has closed the road eastbound between Bolingbroke Grove and Clapham Common Westside.

Thames Water are aware of the situation, according to Wandsworth Council.

In a tweet, the Council said: "Getting reports of a burst water main on Battersea Rise SW11 which has meant the road is closed eastbound between Bolingbroke Grove and Clapham Common Westside. St John's Road also closed. Understand that @thameswater are aware."

St John's Road Bridge and Lavender Hill remain closed for road works.
