Chase & Status will be the headline act at a festival on Clapham Common on August bank holiday Sunday.

New drum and bass event Electric City Festival described Clapham Common as London's "most iconic open space" as it released its line-up of performers in a social media post this week.

The day-long festival on Sunday, August 28 will be the only London show Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status) perform at this year.

In the line-up alongside them are Heady One, Wilkinson, B2B, Sub Focus, Hybrid Minds and the DJ, Andy C, among others.

Electric City Festival, inviting people to its ticket pre-sale next week, said: "The generators are warming up, the sound system is buzzing. Power is surging towards Clapham Common…"

"The heaviest multi-genre, bass-orientated line-up in London is set to light up the city's most iconic open space – where the biggest production and best sound Clapham Common has ever seen is waiting to be fired-up."

Tickets go on sale to a pre-sale group at 10am on Thursday, February 3.
