Clapham local news: Get Vaccinated in Heaven

Grab your first jab by knock, knock, knocking on the door to Heaven Nightclub this weekend.

First doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be given out at the popular LGBTQ+ nightclub "seen as the nearest London had to Studio 54" this Sunday (August 8).

Amy Lamé, London's Night Czar confirmed the news on Twitter this morning (Thursday August 5) and celebrated Heaven becoming the world's first popup vaccination centre in a nightclub.

Lambeth Council is now trying to spread word of the event to local residents. In a tweet at 2.45pm, the Council wrote: "#GrabAJab this Sunday at Heaven Nightclub!

"First does of Pfizer vaccine is available.

"Doors open from 12pm to 9pm.

"Bookings and walk-ins welcome."

Take the Northern Line from Clapham South, Clapham Common or Clapham North stations, get off at Charing Cross and find Heaven under the arches on Villiers Street (WC2N 6NG).
