The four women will be awarded a special pin and a certificate signed by the King and Queen and receive tickets to either the Coronation concert at Windsor Castle or a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

The Mayor of Wandsworth Jeremy Ambache said: "I'm delighted that my nominations for Seema and Magda were successful and I would like to congratulate all the local people whose tireless work has been recognised by Her Majesty and the Royal Voluntary Service.

"Our community is strong because so many people give their time to help others. Thank you to all our volunteers who do so much to help members of our community as well as refugees and other people in need."
