Love Parks is back in local parks for a month, celebrating the many, varied green spaces in Wandsworth.

With Wandsworth the most greenspace-rich borough inner London, Love Parks is an annual campaign that encourages people to enjoy the parks and green spaces on their doorsteps.

This year the campaign, organised by Wandsworth Council and Enable, is exploring four themes: How we look after our green spaces, how they support biodiversity, how they allow us to be active and how they can connect people to each other.

Judi Gasser, Cabinet Member for the Environment said, "Love Parks is all about how we can protect and enjoy our fantastic parks and green spaces.

"We'll be running loads of workshop to help people understand biodiversity as well as free fun events so people can get creative and active.

"It's all part of our work to create a greener, more sustainable borough, bring communities together and support local peoples' physical and mental wellbeing."
