A man has been charged with the murder of 57-year-old Chester Goffe.

Chester was found critically injured by the London Ambulance Service at a flat in Hicken Road around 1.30am on Saturday (February 11).

He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.

Peter Lalgie-Williams, 56, of Hicken Road was charged with his murder today (Monday, February 13).

He will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates' Court later today.
