Wandsworth Police have released an image of a teenager missing from her home in the borough.

Maiwenne Diabate has been missing from her home in Wandsworth since yesterday afternoon (Monday June 6).

Police have reason to believe the 14-year-old may be in Southwark or Peckham and are concerned for her welfare.

In an appeal launched on social media Wandsworth Police urged anyone with information that could help locate Maiwenne to contact them, referencing 21MIS019801. Anyone who sees her is asked to call 999.

They said: "She was last seen wearing a black coat, a white shirt and grey skirt.

"We think she may be in the area of #Southwark or #Peckham.

"Call 999 if you see her or call 101 with any information that could help us find her. Ref: 21MIS019801.

"Please share this appeal. We are concerned for her welfare."
