Police go undercover in Clapham to battle spike in burglaries

Police officers in Clapham have gone undercover to combat a rise in commercial burglaries.
Operation Nightingale was launched this week in response to the recent spate of burglaries in Clapham East.
In tactical operations, officers have conducted plain clothed patrols of the high street.
On Twitter, Clapham East police wrote: "After an increase in commercial burglaries, over the last few days officers have been conducting plain clothes early morning patrols of the high street as part of OP NIGHTINGALE."
