Royal Trinity Hospice will open its award-winning gardens later this month, giving members of the public a rare opportunity to glimpse inside this otherwise private oasis in the heart of Clapham.

As part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS) Open Garden Weekend, which gives visitors unique access to over 3,500 exceptional gardens in Britain, Trinity will welcome guests into its two acres of grounds where patients enjoy an idyllic, therapeutic green space.

As well as thirty different kinds of shrubs, more than thirty-five types of herbaceous plants and twenty-five varieties of shrub roses, the gardens boast a collection of twelve herbaceous geraniums, eight fruit trees, and an ornamental pond.

Announcing the Open Garden event on social media, Royal Trinity Hospice said: "Our garden is looking glorious in this sun.

"Thank you to our amazing garden volunteers who help to make this such a beautiful and peaceful space for our patients, their families, visitors and our staff.

"If you'd like to explore our stunning gardens then come along to our next Open Garden on Sun 25 June!

"Drop in anytime from 10:30am-4:30pm. Our café will also be open for cakes and refreshments."
