Until May 13: Supernova
'Do you have a favourite planet?'
A girl, a boy, and an unhealthy obsession with space. Supernova is a sharp, funny play about falling in love with someone whilst you're falling out of love with yourself.
On paper Tess and Harry are perfect for each other: they both try too hard at fancy dress, have prepared escape plans for the apocalypse, and would happily stay in together for 3 days straight eating take-out and watching Star Wars.
But as astrophysicists and your friends would tell you – the brighter it burns, the darker the collapse.
Supernova is the debut play from multi award winning writer and performer Rhiannon Neads (Funny Women Comedy Writing Award Runner Up 2017). She is one half of musical comedy duo Stiff & Kitsch (Musical Comedy Award winners 2018, as heard on The Now Show, BBC Radio 4).

Friday, May 5: Live Music - King Biscuit
King Biscuit, South London's premiere rhythm and blues band are back for another night of rocking at the Bread and Roses.
Playing two sets of funky grooves and R&B tighter than a mosqueeter's tweeter, expect songs from Bo Diddley, Dobie Gray, Junior Walker, Slim Harpo, The Sonics and lots more. Polish up your dancing shoes, get your red dress on and lock up your grandmothers! King Biscuit are back!

Saturday, May 6: Live Music - Ruby Cross
The New Sticky - A fantastic live band fusing Funk, Northern Soul & Indie RocknRoll, The New Sticky are an electrifying and exciting London based outfit who take no prisoners with their addictively frenetic sound. Expect to find your hips moving even if you thought you were standing still.
Ruby Cross - singer-songwriter born and raised in South London. Following her debut performance at Upstairs at Ronnie Scott's in March 2019, her songwriting has gone from strength to strength, wowing audiences with her powerful but beautiful vocals & unique blend of Indie & Soul. In late 2022 she recorded her new single 'Games' at Propagation House Studios in Cornwall which is due for a summer 2023 release.
