The mother of Sarah Everard has said she is "broken-hearted and distraught" over the murder of her youngest child.

The mother of Sarah Everard has said she is "broken-hearted and distraught" over the murder of her youngest child.
Sarah Everard was handcuffed by Wayne Couzens as he pretended to arrest her for breaching coronavirus regulations.
The former Met Police officer abducted Ms Everard in March as she walked home from a friend's house in Clapham.

Chaos around petrol stations in Clapham continues, with severe traffic jams outside BP Londis on Clapham Common North Side and Sainsbury's petrol station on Nightingale Lane this morning.
Outside the Sainsbury's petrol station at 11:20am today (Tuesday September 28), two stewards were managing the flow of traffic to prevent drivers travelling eastbound or those on Thurleigh Avenue from cutting into the station ahead of cars queueing for fuel.

Extinction Rebellion Battersea held their inaugural pink table 'meet and greet' outside Asda at Clapham Junction on Sunday 26 September. The aim was to talk to people and find out how they feel about what's happening with the climate – and there was lots of interest from passersby.
"We noted how many people now ask 'yes, but what can I do?'" said XR member Peter Harrison. "We were happy to help them."

Petrol stations in Clapham are out of fuel after fears over shortages prompted panic buying over the weekend and into this week.
Sainbury's on Nightingale Lane, Shell on Balham High Road and Londis on Clapham Common South Side were all out of fuel by yesterday afternoon.
