Clapham Common Parkrun course change

Clapham Common Parkrun Course Change

Ahead of the much anticipated return of parkrun to Clapham Common this Saturday, event organisers have announced a course change for runners to be aware of.

As shown in the image above, the course will now start on the gravel area marked 'S' and circled in red.

It is directly south of the previous briefing/finish area by Broomwood Road, and if you have run the course before it is parallel to the old start funnel. On your second lap, you will now turn left to complete your sprint to the finish line.

Organisers have re-assured anyone who plans to join the event that marshals will be on site to guide runners on the route, and volunteers will be on Clapham Common from 8.30am.
