Help Design Clapham Common's Windmill Drive

Londoners have been invited to help design Windmill Drive at an online workshop hosted by Lambeth Council, Street Space and development planners PJA

Windmill Drive has been closed to vehicles since spring 2020, when Lambeth Council put a traffic filter in place during Britain's first Covid-19 lockdown.

Described as a temporary traffic filter, Street Space have said "now Lambeth Council are keen to hear your ideas and thoughts to make this new section of walking and cycling friendly public space permanent!"

PJA publicised the online event on Twitter as open to all Londoners. Street Space have said the ideas developed during the workshop and additional on site sessions on Windmill Drive will help shape the designs taken to Lambeth Council for formal consultation in Autumn.
