According to the Met Office, a generally cloudy start to the day with a chance of occasional drizzle and mist will give way to pockets of sunshine this afternoon. Highs of 21 degrees will last throughout the day. Pollution | LowUV | Medium
Clapham Traffic
There is slow traffic on Nightingale Lane, Clapham Common South Side (A24) and Battersea Rise, and reports of queues outside the petrol stations on both Nightingale Lane and the junction between Marjorie Grove and Clapham Common North Side.
This weekend is the last of Northcote Road's pedestrianisation.
Clapham Junction
The 10:06 from Clapham Junction to London Waterloo is cancelled due to a broken down train delaying its passage from Portsmouth & Southsea. The rest of the service is running to schedule.
The Northern Line
There is a good service currently operating on the Northern Line. For onwards travel, be aware of the Central Line (part closure), London Overground (part closure), Waterloo & City line (planned closure) and the Hammersmith & City line which is experiencing minor delays.
What's Happening in Clapham
Yesterday the new Pets at Home opened over in Clapham South, while to the north of town we visited CoCoMelon, the family run grocery store on Landor Road that's replaced pet shop Archie & Agnes.
Omnibus Theatre has announced even more shows in its Autumn 2021 season, though Peter Gill's play Small Change is in its second week and with Andy Rush in the role of Gerard having been nominated for Off West End's Award for Best Lead Performance in a Play, and Liam Bunster nominated for Best Set Design, by all accounts Small Change is The Must See.
