Clapham: Wellbeing walk to mark Great Mental Health Day

27th Jan 2022 | Local News

From December 21, 2021, the days have been growing longer, minute by minute added to earlier sunrise and later sunset times.

Until the first daffodils start to spring, this stretch of winter can still feel eternal, and a positive mindset hard to find on our own.

With Great Mental Health Day on Friday, January 28, Lambeth Public Health hopes to bring the community together on a wellbeing walk through the borough, celebrating all the things that help us maintain great mental wellbeing.

Starting at The Health Foundry in Waterloo at 9:45am, the wellbeing routeway weaves south through Lambeth, stopping to visit the local places and organisations who support our positive wellbeing, connect with others and appreciate our local community.

The 5.5 mile walk will end at West Norwood Cemetery, and everyone is welcome to walk the whole distance or drop in for a stretch of the route that is convenient.
