Blame Gloria cocktail bar to open in Clapham Junction tomorrow

Adventure Bar on Battersea Rise has had a floral facelift, with 89-91 Battersea Rise now home to the second Blame Gloria cocktail bar in London.

Blame Gloria opens her doors to Clapham Junction tomorrow (August 26), an apt choice for opening night given it replaces Adventure Bar, the south London spot which, while not singlehandedly, certainly helped make 'Thursday the new Friday'.

Known for the Mamma Mia and Disco brunches hosted at its original Covent Garden location, Blame Gloria could give Saturdays in Clapham Junction a makeover too.

Until September 4 and for a bit of money money money, the dancing Queens of Clapham can book tickets to spend Saturday in "Gloria's den of debauchery".

Belt ABBA's most iconic ballads over bubbles (bottomless) and burgers (chicken, pork or what Blame Gloria calls "arguably the best vegan burgers in town") this Autumn by checking out what's on at Blame Gloria Clapham Junction.

Ticket prices to Blame Gloria's Mamma Mia brunches range from £39 to £50.

For this, Blame Gloria says: "First, you can expect to be greeted with a tasty tropical cocktail, not out of place on a Grecian beach.

"Next, our fabulous West-End drag host will welcome you with an all-singing, all-dancing and all-drinking intro! Plus, Our wild West-End stars as seen in Mamma Mia the Musical will be joining us for the fun…but this time they're boozed up and ready to run rampant."

From Monday to Wednesday the bar's opening hours are 5pm to 12am, following which opening hours are as follows:

Friday: 4pm to 2am

Sunday: 4pm to 12am

Happy hour is every day except Saturday from 4pm or 5pm to 7pm and offers 2 for 1 cocktails.
