Events coming up in Clapham

Thursday: PinocchiHoe

Written by Brian Maitland with Tom Sergeant, this new play spins a classic fairytale around lonely Carpenter GeppetHoe who drunkenly makes a somewhat mistaken, misshapen puppet.

Catch it over at The Bread & Roses Theatre on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Friday: Bongo's Bingo

If you've never been showered with Coco Pops while hugging your best friends as you belt Westlife's Greatest Hits from the top of your lungs, you've been missing out on one of Clapham Grand's greatest gifts to the western world.

Add to this scene the great game of Bingo, and you have the marvellous Bongo's Bingo.

Saturday: Fell and the Fallen + West on Sunset

Over at Bread & Roses enjoy live music this Saturday evening.

First up is London-based band, West on Sunset, playing a modern, melodic and powerful mix of funk, soul and retro-styled, pop songs.

Think: Curtis Mayfield, Prince, Steely Dan, James Brown and Marvin Gaye.

Following them is Fell and the Fallen on stage at 9:30pm, a South London band that is working with Gorrilaz producer Jason Cox.
