Thursday: Clapham Comedy Club

Clapham Comedy brings you a Triple Bill of Work in Progress/Extended Sets from Three of their favourite acts and people.

Enjoy a fantastic night of comedy including the hilarious talents of Hatty Ashdown warming up for Leicester Comedy Festival, plus work in progress sets from the star of Dave TV & BBC Tom Deacon and much loved South London comedian, beatboxer & impressionist Stefano Paolini in the back garden of the Bread & Roses Clapham.

Friday: Disc Jockey

DJ, aka, Daniel Johnson, an up and coming DJ from London finally catches his big break.

But when all the pressures of fame and substance abuse get to his head, his life begins to slowly fall apart.

Winner of The Bread & Roses Emerging Company Award for 2021, this is Velvet Smoke Productions premiere of their first full length production - an evening not to be missed that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Friday: Live Music: A.R.T

Formed in 2018, A.R.T have quickly started storming the London indie music scene with their incredible live shows and catchy songs that'll get the shy guy at the back of the room chanting!

Inspired by indie bands such as the Arctic Monkeys, YUNGBLUD, Catfish and the Bottlemen and the funky routes of Madness, A.R.T aim to find new ways to approach the Indie/ Alternative Rock genre but also bring back the energetic passion modern music has lost in recent years.

A.R.T has an exciting unique live style that will make a small room feel like a stadium!

[H3]Friday: Iscantores - Lamentations

Clapham Chamber Concerts is delighted to welcome vocal ensemble Iscantores for the first CCC concert of 2022 on Friday 4th February at 6&8pm.

The programme will open with four mid-twentieth century Poulenc motets, which vividly depict the humility and ecstatic joy of the Nativity.

A stunning collection of music by Gibbons, Byrd, Giffen, Palestrina will follow, but it's Thomas Tallis's Lamentations of Jeremiah, which represents the artistic pinnacle of this wonderful programme

Saturday: Happy Together (Work in Progress)

Happy Together is a work-in-progress performance written by Mengqi He. The play explores sexuality, racial and gender identity based on the writer's own experiences as an immigrant from Mainland China.

Two struggling actresses become best friends, though as the Chinese girl watches her soulmate succeed through being British born, will she give up her own acting dreams or her friendship?

Part of the Vault Festival Transfer Season at Omnibus Theatre.
