Thursday, May 18: Live Music - Reya and Anna Kaya
Anna Kaya is a London-based singer and songwriter. Originally from Bulgaria and born on a leap day, Anna moved to London in 2019 to study music and since then she is actively writing and co-producing her own music. Drawing inspiration from funk classics, soul and R&B anthems and the originality of jazz, her music combines soulful vocals with poetic and straightforward lyricism.
Reya is a London based dark pop artist whose music speaks from the depths of her heart. With Chilean heritage, Reya is originally from Norway but grew up in Spain, resulting in her rich, multicultural upbringing being a key ingredient to her unique style and sound.
Saturday, May 20: The Gallery
The play explores the simple joys and nuances of life, how we relate to each other, our circumstances and the arts. "The Gallery" is a new written play set in a gallery in modern day East London, it revolves around the unveiling of a new piece of art at obscure art gallery.
Here we meet the Artist, The Critique, The Old Acquaintance, The Student and The Free-Spirit. As time goes on, series of encounters arise, whereas some people know each other from before, some will get the chance to meet for the first time, while other relationships might come to an end.
