Clapham Traffic

Traffic is slow around the Common, particularly on The Avenue (both directions) and Clapham Common North Side (both directions).

Signs to highlight the impending expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone to Clapham next week have emerged around town.

From today (October 35), the Mayor of London's ULEZ is expanding to bring some eastern parts of Clapham into the scheme, including Clapham North, Clapham High Street, Clapham Common, Lavender Hill and Abbeville Village.

Clapham Junction

There is a good, timely service operating through Clapham Junction on most train routes.

Clapham Junction began six months of lift upgrades on Monday. As a result there is no step-free access at Platforms 1 and 2 until Friday, October 29.

There is service between Euston and Kilburn High Road while a signal failure at South Hampstead is fixed. Minor delays between Kilburn High Road and Watford Junction.

The Northern Line

The Northern Line continues its undisrupted streak of good service.

Less rare is the severe delays on the Metropolitan line, today between Moor Park and Amersham. There are minor delays on the rest of the line due to train cancellations.
