Royal Trinity Hospice Issues Urgent Stock Appeal

Royal Trinity Hospice has launched an urgent appeal for donations as weeks of record breaking sales leaves shops low on stock.

It makes sense customers flocked to Trinity's shops when they re-opened in April. Recognised by Vogue as among Britain's best charity shops, the two Royal Trinity Hospice stores Clapham boasts - one on Northcote Road and one on St John's Road - have garnered a loyal following for marrying the look and feel of commercial boutiques with the warmth and heart of a charity retailer.

Clapham is home to not just two of Trinity's shops but to the hospice itself, located on Clapham Common North Side. Prior to lockdown restrictions, the 20 shops it operates across London and its online stores on amongst other sites, ASOS Marketplace and Depop, made profits of £5.5 million from donations.

Daniel Holloway, Director of Retail at Royal Trinity Hospice said: "Since reopening in April the response from our customers has been phenomenal.

"Now we are asking our community to help us sustain that success by donating their quality preloved goods - we're especially looking for menswear, womenswear, and accessories".

If you are able to contribute items, they can be donated directly in store or via the free collection service Trinity operates, bookable through its website.
