Clapham Common Parkrun will go ahead tomorrow

An influx of volunteers means Clapham Common Parkrun can still go ahead tomorrow (Saturday August 14).

The event faced cancellation due to low volunteer numbers, Nub News reported yesterday. Although Clapham Common parkrun will go ahead tomorrow, all future events remain in jeopardy due to too few volunteer sign-ups.

A Clapham Common parkrun spokesperson announcing the good news on Instagram today said: "Thank you, volunteers. Tomorrow's event will go ahead.

"If you'd like parkrun to continue on Clapham Common, we can't do it without you. Every single one of our future events is still at risk of cancellation."

Check out the future volunteer roster to see what roles Clapham Common parkrun still needs to have filled in the coming weeks.
