Inaugural Clapham makers market at the Omnibus Theatre

It's wonderful to see how many events are going on in Clapham in the coming weeks and months – our town is brimming with brilliant things to see and do!

Our top pick for this week is the brand new Clapham Makers Market, being hosted at the Omnibus Theatre in the heart of Clapham Old Town.

Clapham Old Town may not push Portobello off its historic market place pedestal, but with Venn Street Market already tipped by Vogue as being "worth a lengthy visit," I think many in our neighbourhood will welcome the arrival of Clapham Makers Market.

For those who have missed browsing market stalls for up-and-coming talented designers – let's be honest, that 'add to cart' button does not give the same feeling – the new market promises to be the best end to 'Freedom Week' you could imagine.

Expect to find handmade vegan, all natural soap, unique printed homewares from Mustard House, Driftwood London's hand-poured candles and incredibly cool concrete creations from CD Concrete Creations.

These are just a handful of the brilliant brands curated by Deborah, the brains and organisation behind Clapham Makers Market.

The market in Omnibus Theatre will open at 11.00am this Sunday, July 25 and is free to enter right through until its close at 5.00pm.
