Police have launched an investigation after a man in his early 30s was raped on Clapham Common

The assault took place near the wooded area on Clapham Common westside, opposite The Avenue, at around midnight on Wednesday June 30.

Ahmad Ahmoodi has appealed to neighbours and the wider community to help find his 3-year-old green parrot Rango who went missing from home in Clapham North at 5pm on Tuesday (August 17).

Nando's in Clapham shut amid UK chicken shortage

Nando's has shut 45 restaurants including its store in Clapham due to a chicken shortage.

The chicken chain said it was forced to close sites due to staffing shortages at supplies and reduced numbers of lorry drivers.
