CLAPHAM PHOTO GALLERY: The Common at its finest

We promised a summer climate this week and the first of two scorching days didn't disappoint.
Drawn out by 28 degree heat tempered by a light, pleasant breeze, hundreds of locals soaked in the early evening sunshine on Clapham Common.
Friends shared picnics and queued for ice creams, while others practiced ball tricks or parked on a bench, immersed themselves in their books.
Here are some of our favourite photos to remember summer by when we wake up at September's end.
