L'Occitane was forced to close 75 per cent of its stores in the 'peak' of the pandemic

Yet another retailer has shut up shop on St John's Road, with L'Occitane en Provence the latest store to permanently close on the High Street.

A key route for drivers travelling between Clapham and Battersea is closed as heavy downpours and thunderstorms have left it flooded.

Two vehicles are stuck in floodwater on Latchmere Road after their drivers underestimated the depth of the water. Meanwhile moped drivers use pedestrian walkways to reach their destinations via this critical route.
